About Us The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance Tampa Bay (DBSA) , is a nonprofit and all volunteer organization for individuals, family and friends of those who have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, depression and other affective disorders. (note: bipolar was formerly known as manic depression).
Please refer to our depression and bipolar support group schedule to find a support meeting that is convenient to you. All that you need to do is show up. You do not need to pay dues to attend our meetings. Dress is very casual. The meetings follow a relaxed format and are led by your peers who have been trained to effectively facilitate the meetings. DBSA Medical Advisor Dr. Michael Sheehan answers questions at a recent DBSA lecture.
If you or a loved one or somebody who struggles with mood disorders, bipolar disorder, depression (variants include major depression, clinical depression and others) please come to one of our support group meetings.
